“Maiden Village – Dissolute City” Exhibition – March 10th, 2009, 6.00 p.m. – the Hall of House-museum “Dimiter Peshev”

Ruse Regional History Museum visits Kyustendil with its exhibition “Village Maiden – City Dissolute”. It presents images of Bulgarian erotic in traditional and modern area. It emphasizes on emblematic topics of Bulgarian rites such as Wedding, German (rite for rain), Kukove and Dzhamal (masquerades), which represent the erotic as a potential and an opportunity for ensuring prosperity from nature, as well as on popular persons – the most famous lovers and love couples, the most famous sexual symbols, love affairs from the Modern Time.

It shows samples of the modern town erotic folklore, from students’ and soldiers’ folklore and follows the theme about the erotic in the everyday life during the Socialism.
The exhibition will be opened on March 10th, 2009 at the Hall of the House-museum “Dimiter Peshev” at 6.00 p.m.

Event’s organizers are Regional History Museum – Ruse and Regional History Museum – Kyustendil.
