The Strimon Exhibition Hall presents a new ethnographic exhibition of the Kyustendil History Musuem. Its topic is inspired by the great variety of herbs and their healing and magic power. The exhibition titled With the Scent of Herbs – Healing and Magical presents above 70 species of herbs that can be met in the region of Kyustendil. It follows the practice of herbs healing since the remote past – the first drawings left by man inside caves showing shamans praying and the mushroom they used to take before rituals, found in the Magura cave in Bulgaria and dated in the Bronze Age. There are also lots of prescriptions and advices by popular healers from the past.
The exhibition is arranged at the Strimon Hall situated in the museum yard (55, Bulgaria Str. 2500 Kyustendil)
