The Restoration / Conservation Lab has its origin since 1985. In it samples made by metal, wood and ceramics from all ages are repaired. Basic subject of activity is restoration of archaeological materials. Due to technological researches and science conservation and restoration methods considerable results were achieved. Restored artfacts take part in prestigious national and international exhibitions.
Under methodological guide of specialists Petar Ignatov, Nadejda Ignatova and Ivan Madgov a permanent preventive activity of exhibits is done, in order to keep and preserve safely collections from sections Archaeology, Etnology, Modern and Contemporary history.
